i went with klite system. Light n separate usb charger. Not cheap but worth it not having to remember to charge light. I commute 6 days a week 16 miles each way. The vold was hard on battery lights

so far ride quality is supreme. Rolled down road surprisingly easy for 40. Biggest complaint so far is the spacing in gears. Can see a 2nd wheelset w/ nice road tires

I understand chainline vs q-factor. Grx chainline is + 2.5mm. So in theory the 1x chainring mounted on outside of r8000 crank should be bloody close to same chainline🤞
