I think that so many owners added those D rings that Caradice decided to do it themselves. I use them sometimes, but I usually find myself using the nylon straps I attach to the top of my saddle bags...

I haven't toured with the Specialized yet, Covid got in the way, and so have just one cage installed...the Diverge can take three....
