I've use them. They are a period restoration tire and work perfectly for that use. If you are a rider that pushes the envelope on the trails, get modern rubber.

The component mix says '84 to me. It's rare to see Shimano Deerhead on an '83 mass produced bike. I'd guess $200-250 because of the parts mix - that seatpost is not a cheap item.
