There was a nice-looking Comp TA for $100 in Raleigh. It’s no longer listed. May have had a bad fork, though, as the front brake looked wonky. I’d have gotten it, were it not five hours away!

Doc, I'm running an 8-speed cassette (12-26) on my Basso Gap with the same 600 shifters and no problems at all. Hitting #9 might be a stretch, though.
