I don't know, but I know I can mount 20 x 1.95 with no problems, someone else on here managed to mounto2.30 but it was a tight fit.

I had the same issues, went to a folding bike, lower center, easier mount and dismount and the smaller wheels are much less squirmy imho. Tires are your choice, but paul at origami has great choices...
