Absolutely I hadn't ridden a bike for about 50 years, bought a fat tire bike, jumped on and rode. In 6 years I've got 10,000 miles on that bike, I'm now 70 years old.

Yes replaced the chain and shift cable. It's really not a problem because I usually ride in 5th and if I down shift I can go into 3rd with no problem. Was curious why it only did it in 4th.

Shimano 7 speed gear problem

The gears shift smoothly, the problem is when in 4th gear the chain skips. All other gears work fine. I normally ride in 5th, shift down to 4 it seems to skip, shift down to 3rd it's fine.
