Just for insurance, I would try giving Dahon customer service a call. Sometimes they used to have certain parts. Have the frame # ready, if you can't find the model year.

Dahon Vitesse rolls great when folded. Since it's almost the same frame design, I assume Speed does as well. You have to know how to position the magnet and set your steering column.

I had asked the SRAM cs rep if over - tightening the axle nuts could cause this, and he said he didn't know. But a few weeks ago I loosened them a little, and that seems to have solved the problem.

Check out the Pletscher 20" rack. The best rack I've seen. I've carried 45 pds. on it. Rock solid and super strong. It just takes a while to install, because it's very adjustable.
