Going to have a look at those tires. In my corals are only two bikes a cx and a roadie. My cx is just better suited for on off the road. And from what I read low rolling wide tires are what I need.

Sad to say I find my road bike is not getting the miles I thought it would. I feel the cx is safer even on a smaller 25 to 50 mile jouurneys. That is a nice looking bike !

None other than curious. Even my lbs hasn't seen but a few Caloi since their shop opened in the 80's. I've never seen a frame with a carbon rear and an aluminum front triangle. Curiosity got me.

I've looked at a few new bikes and frames . Carbon frames I like are over $1K, bikes that I like are $3 to $5 K or more. $500 11 speed manual Shimano upgrade not too bad.
