1) still think if it came this way from the builder it is the builders issue
2) something is very off
3) lot's of assumptions are being made without accurate...

a) if it is new check with the builder as to what...

a) if it is new check with the builder as to what size seatpost is required
b) get the calipers out and measure the seat post and the inside diameter of the seat tube that should tell you a lot
