Buy a little pump to carry on the bike. If you happen to get a flat, it won't kill you to ride at 80 psi or whatever until you get home.

I just use clip-ons, and I have another seatpost with a Selle SMP saddle on it - I find its a lot nicer to sit on when I'm in a TT position. The only other thing I have is a skinsuit.

I used to run Attack/Force... they lasted a good 5000kms or so with ONE flat the entire time. I did a lot of race kms on those. Very happy. Current tyres are GP4000, so far so good, I'm happy.
