one month later slime comes out near the valve and then I get a flat. Pump it up and then it’s fine

maybe it was a separate puncture?

Bought my scooter with “ pre inserted puncture sealant “ which didn’t work when I got a puncture ( 1 month ago ) as it just leaked out
So got some slime from Halfords and it fixed it instantly
...

How common are punctures ?

I bought some continental contact travels for my hybrid so I can go fast On the road and handle well on gravel and mud paths
they are supposed to be more puncture resistant than most other tyres...

I’ve used muc off for everything around the chain area . Then hosed it thoroughly and it’s spotless however the quiet scratching is still there

Just had a a mechanic round to fit two very difficult tyres. Just notice the back tyre has the arrow facing backwards rather than forward. Is it a big deal ? I heard it is just for water displacement...

what exactly made it so difficult to change the inner tube? Was it the tyre or the rim ?
