Hospital visit number 15 for the finger... Custom splint #3 is even smaller and I only have to wear it while I sleep or do high-risk activities. Therapist is happy.

I got cleared to ride outside again (with a splint) which is nice.

Values issues, or other small "holes in the heart", can be essentially harmless, they just reduce efficiency. Really bad valve problems will strain the heart and possibly cause...

My unprofessional opinion is you have little to fear about a STEMI but you could have a valve problem.

"Tapping" sensation could be irregular or incomplete valve...

Medical bills are not a thing, but private insurance comes in if you want money for pain and suffering.

Even with two surgeries my only expenses have been a few cab rides and painkillers.
