I used to suffer from lower back pain around the 35-40 mile mark, I shortened my stem by 10mm and fixed it, never had an issue since!

I've always ridden 28s but recently upgraded to 19mm internal and 27.5mm external wheels. I went with 25s and can say I haven't noticed any difference in comfort whatsoever.

I swapped my aluminum seat post for a carbon one and noticed zero difference in comfort! Dropping tyre pressure was far more effective and a hell of a lot more cheaper!

I've had 2 sets of Continentals, GP 4 Seasons and GP 5000, didn't have a problem fitting either tyre, the 5000's were fitted to tubeless ready wheels and went on with a little help with levers.

Quick update, I bought a 10mm shorter stem and it has fixed my back! Done a 53 mile ride today with no back pain whatsoever! Best 10 I've spent!

Continental have confirmed they were OE tyres which are sold to bike manufacturers to fit to bikes that technically shouldn't be sold, tyres sold in the after market should come in a box.
