I rode this bike in a slightly different set up for about 400 miles. If it were a touch smaller, I would have made it work. It has a really nice, smooth ride and climbs well considering its geometry...

I don't think it matters. Isn't the spacing and cable pull determined by the freewheel and shifters? The cyclone is friction and it should move as much as the shifter needs it to.
