I have found that the descent is harder to control when you’re on the brakes the whole time. The only time I’ve ever almost dumped it on a descent is when I was riding the brake.

I guess only if you need to replace the main shut off in the house. Our valve is under the frost line, but there is a piece that pops up above ground so what we can shut it off.
