I think if you're doing drops etc as you mentioned I would probably go with the more stouter Nukeproof Neutron rim, sure it's a tad heavier but it should hold up better under rough use.

My guess- it's a universal washer so if the cap has the elevated inner ring or not the washer will work. Is the groove in the washer deep enough that the inner ring fits completely within the washer?...
