Your other bikes are probably 26" "mountain bike" aka 559 rims and the Raleigh is 26" old 3 speed aka 590 rims. So 31 mm difference in rim height or close to an inch! I like the back rack!

To me the ride on a 3 speed isn't "bland" but more of an "automatic-pilot", because when I ride mine, I enjoy the sights/sounds and not have to think about the bike. :D

If my math is correct a 15" chainring would be 114 tooth, lets see 114 chainring x 12 cassette cog running a 700c x 25 tire at 120 crank RPM
would be around 89.5 mph....:)

Could be OsteoArthritis instead of RA. I have OA in hands, wrists, elbows etc and do very well on NSAIDS, been using Celebrex for 15 years and so far (knock on wood) no side effects. Tim
