Most of these hubs take 3/16 bearings, but there are some that take 1/4 bearings. My Clubman has a Bayliss Wiley alloy front hub with 1/4 bearings.

If you can find one a BSA hub would be first choice, Bayliss Wiley made nice period Hubs. They made an alloy High flange hub for club bikes, but I don’t see any on eBay.

As other’s have pointed out BSA and SA hubs function differently, and you should have a BSA shifter. The shifter shown in the pics, appears likely to be designed for the hub, but I could be wrong
