This is a freewheel, so you'd have to determine what kind of hub you have. If it's a threaded hub, this freewheel will do nicely. If you have a freehub body with splines, no go.

Never seen a 6 speed HG cassette, would assume that an 87 Super Sport would be using a freewheel, not a freehub/cassette.
At least, all of the ones I've owned have been equipped with a freewheel....
