Yeah it wasn't a mixte, the tubes only connected to the seat tube... gah. It was marketed more as an urban utilitarian frame than an assault frame... Thanks for the ideas though

Got the response from Riv... Dove is merely a bit more narrow and can't take barend shifters. Similar weight on the two. I don't need to worry about bar end shifters... guess the only real advantage...
