I don't think Rollercams will work with cantilever mounts; the positioning is different. They need the same positioning as for U-Brakes. I am almost positive about that.

The bikes also had a very high (13" ?) BB height. I think the theory was the BB height and supposed lower gearing and manouveabity with smaller rear wheel was more suited for "east coast" woods...

I built this 1984 Bianchi when I worked in a bike shop, Long Island NY. Basically original. The main thing I changed was from 32 hole tubulars to 28 hole Mavics with the ceramic braking surface....
