Yes SJX426, I do roughen up the rim a little bit with sandpaper before applying glue. Then wipe sandpaper dust off with dry rag. Tubulars Rule!

Hi jimmuller. Yes, I've had this happen to my tubulars. Usually it goes away. Sometimes I'll put glue in there and it'll go away. Tubulars Rule.

Just got a set of Schwalbes, they are real nice, Challenge, Vittoria, FMB are nice but I get flats on em before I get a 100 miles in. Lots of good ones out there. Tubulars Rule!

After I read where Boonen, and Chavanel were running 59 in front and 62 in the back for Roubaix. I've lowered my pressures down to 75 on all my tubulars. They ride real comfy.

The two challenge tubulars I've mounted went on very easy after a two day rim stretch. Too bad about your finger. Way to toughen it out and stick with tubulars like a tough old professional. ☺
