If me, I’d try to find another 83, or even an 84 Supersport frame, and just transfer over the components. 84 Tempo frame would also work. Those frames were all basically the same.

Hell, that’s a nice looking bike, just clean it up and ride it, then decide if you want to keep it. Doesn’t need restoration, why spend the money. I would put new tires on it though.

Thanks! I am also 6 foot 2 in, and frame is a nice fit. Actually the frame is size 25.5. Which is the largest offered by Raleigh in 1978, according to their catalog.
