Mine also came with some already installed and some on a sheet that I could add. My heels would kick the chainstay every so often and I ripped that one off once it started to peel. I bought another sheet from the LBS along with a Lizard Skin velcro chain stay protector. I have since concentrated on keeping my feet straight and probably don't need it any more.
