The area west of Madison Wisconsin has thousands of miles with steep rolling hills, smooth pavement and almost no traffic. There are a few towns here and there for food & water. The Dairyland Dare challenge ride event and the Horribly Hilly Hundred are run in this area.

My favorite ride would be 60 to 100 miles of rolling steep hills. A 1 mile long hill steeper than 12% would be included every hour. I would do this every other day if retired.
