Just curious -- around how many hours do you spend in the saddle to require chamois cream? I average about 10 hours a week, my longest ride ever being about 7 hours long (and 7 back two days later), and I have never needed it. Obviously everyone is different, but I'm wondering if maybe I will run into the right circumstances to create a need for it, or if maybe I just got lucky (seems unlikely with my dry skin). I'm riding a decent quality chamois right now, but my longest rides to date have been in my bottom-of-the-line LG shorts.
