This is tragic, but many of us saw it coming, even before allegations pointed to Armstrong several years ago.
Here's what I'm going to do, and I think we all should do the same.
I'm going to quietly lament the loss to cycling, I'm going to try not to blame Lance directly for the win-at-all-cost-cause-you're-paid-to mentality that professional cycling (and other sports) engenders, then,...
I'm going to write a check to the Livestrong Foundation, because I can separate good from bad, and at a time like this, the Livestrong Foundation is going to need support to continue all their good work– now, and in the years to come.
All of this sucks, but I won't throw away the good that's come out of LA's off-season efforts. I'll try not to judge. I've never ridden where he and others ride...
