I replaced my campy chain 2 weeks ago without changing the cassette. They seem to be getting along fine with minimal slipping, but I have been developing a ticking/knocking noise under load.

Could this noise be coming from the combo of new chain, old cassette, or should I look elsewhere? Don't want to needlessly put on a new cassette.

Chain and cassette had about 4000 miles on them before i replaced the chain.
