Dream Cycle is my closest bike shop since moving to the new place - had them press in the CK headset cups on the Holland.

Darren & co. do great work and are attentive and resourceful (even if I did stump 'em looking for a 28.4mm seat post shim).

Sharon's Soma looks like a very nice bike (as are some of the choice Salsas and Cielos in the shop right now).

Andrée-Anne and I drove from Portland to Astoria last year (destination: Seaview, WA, on the other side of that epic bridge - nice riding in the park on that side); I can only imagine that it will be a beautiful ride out to the mouth of the Columbia.

EDIT: Oh man, I was skimming when I first posted this reply - and somehow missed the part about your accident! Hope that bruising isn't too bad.
