I don't think I'll ever buy a bike with electronic shifting simply on principle. For me, the beauty in a bike comes from the fact that you're using a machine that is entirely powered by you. You push the pedals, you throw the shifters, you pull the brakes, etc. If it's electronic, it's no longer purely you. There's a sort of disconnect between the bike and your body.

But hey, if you like electronic shifting I'm not gonna stop you.
