I already have high quality dedicated tools for home wrenching. I carry a couple of spare spikes in my seatpost in case I break/bend one which has happened before. I just need a tool to get the new one in place and reasonably tensioned in order to get me home. Same with the chain breaker. I carry spare powerlinks but if I need to remove a broken link while in the road, I'll need a tool for that.
