That's a long way to walk, especially on your toes! I hope he remains happy in his new home and doesn't try returning to his previous home again.

I thought I remembered some stuff about possums and ticks and rabies, so I just did a quick google. Possums pick up a ton of ticks, but they kill 90% of the ticks they pick up, leaving fewer ticks for the rest of us. Also, they can get rabies, but only if their immune system is already compromised. They're apparently less likely to get rabies than we are.
