Track day San Diego Velodrome. Warmup, accelerations and jumps then 3x4 flying laps with 15' RBI and then a kilo with a standing start. This is the type of w/o where a PM seems valuable as I can do post ride analysis and see how my lap power plus SDV is very oval with wide turns that makes power more constant versus the 250 m track at Carson.

As an added bonus, my wife joined me and did the same workout at the same time. So we set this up as the hound and hare drill. My goal was constant speed and effort over the 4 laps and she was to keep up or close if she could on the last lap. My wife tends to overcook her opening laps and fade at the end. I negative split my laps. So it seemed like a great workout for her to chase.

We went pretty fast and I hit 140% FTP constant power with an increase at the end on each effort. It is always amazing how much a standing start takes. When I did the kilo, I was really happy when it was over after 3 laps. All and all a great training day at the track.
