Is there a good solution for using the drops protected? I love drop bars, will probably try rigging my mtb with one this year and a bar end shifter.

someone should invent a type that protects hands while in the drops
it's been a long time so I'm actually struggling to remember what it was like to ride with them on the drop bar. I think I must have used the two straight bar bikes more during the cold weather last year
