I have to agree that titanium frames have the ability to make a road bike feel smooth and precise.
For any type of bike with fat or soft tires the benefit of Ti is it's strength and weight and non-corrosive properties, not it's 'suppleness' or handling.
Tires and tire pressure are the primary determinant of road feel, not frames.
For people claiming their Ti mountain bike rides or handles better than a CF or Al or steel, just realize it's not the frame material = your builder got the geometry right for your style of riding, and you picked tires suitable for the terrain.
