At the end of the film Sicario, Benicio del Toro suggested that Emily Blunt should move to a small town that believed in the rule of law. That's where I live. Never have to lock my bikes on errands.
Maybe if I had to get a haircut for 30 minutes and couldn't keep my eye on it. Left my key in my K75 Beemer for 5 years and my Volvo 240 is going on about 6 years now. It's pleasantly weird, being a big city boy.
I scoffed at the lock too but for the wrong reason.
