Agree. It's all about the mask. Disinfection theater makes people feel better but likely does precious little to prevent spread of COVID19.
For some reason they moved the on hold books behind the counter. So I went there to ask about my book.
The librarian asked me to present my library card. I put it on the desk.
"Can you move it over here please?"
I guess she didn't want to touch it.
