I think you are correct about John's in Pasadena.
I previously heard from @
repechage about John's in Pasadena. This is what he had to say:
"I have not seen that before, on the top tier bikes in the 70's there was just a white or black brush script font that was John's on a diagonal.
I think the consumer grade bikes received the full graphic with address and phone number and a cartoon line art rider out of the saddle."
My guess is that this is the top tier bike sticker that predates the brush script one described by repechage.
