I'd be concerned about FF durability too. I use it on the front, so it gets no wear and tear. It certainly spins up fast, allows me to run low pressure and keeps me on course.
I've loved the Maxis Rambler too in 40mm size, but they make a 45 and a 50mm too. Its similar in that it is a low height knob fast rolling tire that doesn't have the GK-SK issues (tight knob spacing causing it to throw rocks at your frame and load up with mud). I use the rambler for Gravel and CX races.
