If that is the 1964 frame mentioned in Classic Lightweights then it would seem to be a shame to make a fixie from it, but all down to personal preference and I am not adverse to changes, such as putting early Dura Ace fixed hubs on a 50/60s road path frame - see my other post re frame identification.
