Garmins connect to your phone and know the weather, it almost sounds like it considers riding in the rain to be dangerous, so when the thing sees a sign deceleration, if it's raining it's a crash. I doubt that's how it really works, but that's what it sounds like.
yes who knows. I have tired to stop it giving me weather info as its so slow It tells me often when the ride is almost done. but often the feature wont stay turned off.
