That's what Reds used to do before he got sick. And he was a big boy. Sometimes it would take both of us to get him in. Very cartoonish.
I had a cat who amazed me by being able to simultaneously enter and leave the carrier. Her head came out before her butt was all the way in. It was like the door of the carrier was a space/time portal with the entry and exit on the same side.
