theofam - Mark on the brake surface where the transition starts for the flat spot on both sides of it. Also mark where it is the most flat. Loosen the spokes a lot so you can allow for the rim to flex a bit. then do this kind of thing.

As the rim is displaced the transition points will move closer to the flat spot. Step and repeat until the flat spot is nearly gone. Watch for the rim wall width and don't let it change. Us can use smaller clamps to retain the correct width.
