More Wind but Beautiful Gravel as Well!
I ventured out last Saturday to do this ride but turned back after almost being blown off my bike a couple of times in gusts of nearly 40 mph (64 kph). Yesterday's wind wasn't quite as strong but it was punishing nonetheless. Still, it was nice to be out riding on some beautiful gravel roads while taking in a scenic backdrop of rolling hills, farm fields ready for planting, and prairie grass along the way.
