Used my 45-pound 1997 Nishiki Blazer to tow my 30-pound trailer and bin to carry 10-pounds of sensitive, personal papers 5 miles to the document shredders.
Luckily, it was mostly along a fairly flat rails-to-trails path. But this is Colorado Springs, so I did have some challenging hills. But cruising on the flats I didn't really feel the trailer, and my average speed was only down one mph, same as when wearing the studded snow tires. (11.5 vs 12.5 for this bike)
I used to be able to watch them shred, but since Covid, the procedure is to pull into a parking space and honk your horn. Since I ride with an AirZound airhorn I was able to do just that. I honked, the clerk came out and took the documents, returning a minute later with the receipt.
