The Kilo/Pursuit bars:
Bars made from Cr-Mo steel, aircraft wing-strut airfoil tubing. Not superlight but incredibly stiff due to triangulation, "no give".

Was it industry practice at the time to make the gusset fairings out of fiberglass?
