Just mount the light upside down. Have it hang fron under the bar- that will keep it from rotating down due to weight.
Its how I mount one of my lights on 2 different bikes due to handlebar space and set up. I actually prefer it as it also isnt then perched up atop the bars which just bugs me for no good reason.
