Thought, I’d rev this thread up since Orange is The Fastest Color.
Here’s my 49cm 1993 Bridgestone XO-1. I recently had the frameset for sale at a local bike show.


Grant Petersen probably didn’t know he was going to make such an influential bike at the time, you know?


I changed the headset; it’s a new Tange Levin threaded headset.


Frame and fork are painted in “construction pumpkin;” all original, except for a few chips and some rust. There’s white primer under the gloss.


This realistically, is the only surface rust on the frameset. Not bad for 30 years old (Can’t believe I’m writing that).


Decals are original, too.


Ishiwata Croston 022E tubing. Not sure what Croston means, maybe some of you may know.


Previous owner used the frameset as a commuter and for bike messaging.
