Green & Carter, Somerset supplied the hydraulic ram to the gardens at Heligan in 1890.

Enquires were made when restoration began in 1991.

"...details of every single individually numbered hydraulic ram Green and Carter has ever supplied are meticulously kept in green leather-bouned ledgers dating back to 1771."

(They produced the original invoice.)
