fwiw.. I tried some Continental Contact Speed tires a year or two ago. They were OK, pretty nice..but they don't run as fast as they appear. As long as I have a spare 26x2 Supremes to run on the FL bike, I'll run them. For touring, I'll continue to run the Bens.


I tend to emphasize "speed" quite a bit. This is due to my preference for tires that are fun to ride. I find slow tires annoying. ..mho
